Truck & RV Bodies

CKD Modular Truck Bodies& Travel Trailers

Dry freight, refrigerated, and RV bodies built with our own composite panels and assembled at our Malaysia facility. CKD modular design saves 30-40% on shipping and enables on-site customization.

Why CKD Modular Assembly?

CKD (Completely Knocked Down) design is how we deliver complete truck bodies at a fraction of the shipping cost.

30-40% Lower Freight

Flat-packed CKD components maximize container utilization vs. assembled vehicles with empty interior space.

Simple On-Site Assembly

Bolt-together modular design — no welding required. Assembly with standard hand tools in 2-4 hours per unit.

Reduced Import Duties

CKD components may qualify for lower tariff classifications than fully assembled vehicles in many markets.

Flexible Customization

Local assembly allows last-mile customization: electrical systems, regional compliance modifications, and branding.

Refrigerated Truck Body

Cold chain logistics solution using our proprietary MPP insulation technology. Double-sided PET composite MPP foam boards provide excellent thermal insulation with food-contact-safe materials (supercritical CO₂ foaming, no chemical blowing agents).

Frequently Asked Questions

What is CKD and why does it matter for truck bodies?

CKD (Completely Knocked Down) means the truck body is shipped as flat-packed modular components — wall panels, floor panels, roof panels, door assemblies, and hardware — rather than as an assembled unit. This saves 30-40% on international shipping costs because flat-packed panels fill containers much more efficiently than assembled truck bodies with empty interior space. CKD also enables local assembly, allowing customers to add region-specific electrical systems, branding, and compliance modifications.

What materials are used in your truck body panels?

Dry freight truck bodies use single-sided PET thermoplastic PP honeycomb panels — lightweight, waterproof, impact-resistant, and durable. Refrigerated truck bodies use double-sided PET composite MPP (micro-porous polypropylene) foam boards for superior thermal insulation. Chassis components use LG700 high-strength steel, structural frames use 6063 aluminum alloy profiles, and all locks and hinges are stainless steel for corrosion resistance.

Where are your truck bodies assembled?

Our CKD truck bodies and travel trailers are assembled at our facility in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia. Composite panels and metal components are manufactured at our main factory in Tongxiang, Zhejiang, China, then shipped to Malaysia for final assembly. This dual-base model provides optimized trade logistics for customers worldwide, particularly in the Americas and Oceania.

Can I order truck bodies in custom sizes?

Yes. While we offer standard models (LS300/LS400/LS450 dry freight, 4.5T reefer), all dimensions can be customized. We can modify length, width, height, door configurations (rear swing, side slide, roll-up), insulation thickness for reefer bodies, floor load rating, and tie-down hardware. Send your chassis specifications and payload requirements for a custom quotation.

What is the minimum order quantity for CKD truck bodies?

MOQ depends on customization level. Standard models start at 10-20 units for initial orders. Fully custom designs require a tooling/jig investment, so MOQ is typically 50+ units. We offer prototype and sample runs (1-5 units) for customer evaluation before committing to production volumes. Contact our team for pricing based on your specific configuration and quantity.
