What makes MPP insulation better than PU foam for cold chain?
MPP uses supercritical CO₂ physical foaming — food-contact safe with zero chemical blowing agents. It is 100% recyclable (thermoplastic PP), has better long-term moisture resistance than PU foam (closed-cell structure maintains insulation performance over years), and achieves comparable thermal conductivity (0.028-0.035 W/m·K vs 0.022-0.028 for PU). PU foam is cheaper and has slightly better raw insulation value, but cannot be recycled and uses chemical agents.
Do you supply insulation panels or complete reefer truck bodies?
Both. We supply MPP insulation boards as raw material for your own cold chain equipment manufacturing. We also build complete CKD refrigerated truck bodies with MPP insulation, assembled at our Malaysia facility. The CKD model ships flat-packed for 30-40% freight savings, with 4-6 hour bolt-together assembly at destination.
